With deep roots in Northeastern Oregon, Brooks finds songwriting inspiration in political activism, the human condition and small town life.   In his original work you can hear influences as broad as 60's rock gods The Rolling Stones, 70's punk gods the Ramones, and country music royalty like Waylon Jennings.   No genre's are safe and no topics go undiscussed.  The outcome is a blend of Americana, Punk, and Rock with a genuine sense of honesty not often found in today's music.  A songwriter by heart, Brooks has now written three full albums and working on a fourth release which should hit the streets in 2025.  Look for more music to come from this honkytonk style song peddler.
