With deep roots in rural Eastern Oregon, Brooks finds inspiration in the outdoors and small town life.  In his original work you can hear influences as broad as the 60's rock gods theRolling Stones, the 70's punk gods the Ramones, and country music royalty like Waylon Jennings.     No genre's are safe and no topics go undiscussed.  The outcome is a blend of country and rock n roll with a genuine sense of honesty not often found in today's music.  A songwriter by heart, Brooks has now written three full albums and working on a fourth release which should hit the streets in 2023.  Look for more music to come from this honkytonk style song peddler.
